Jassen Todorov is the Grand Prize Winner of the 2018 National Geographic Photo Contest.  His work has been widely published and featured by major international outlets including National Geographic, The Guardian, CNN, The Telegraph, The Times, Daily Mail, Los Angeles Times, Wired, PDN, MSN, Yahoo, Figaro, GEO, Corriere della Sera, China News Service, CCTV, Xinhua News, and many others across the UK, France, Austria, Italy, India, China, and Korea. His photographs have been exhibited in prominent venues such as Chicago O’Hare International Airport, San Francisco International Airport, Somerset House and the Heathrow Express in London (UK), the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh (UK), Publika in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), and the Port of Thessaloniki (Greece). An active pilot and flight instructor, Jassen specializes in aerial photography, capturing both iconic and remote locations around the globe. He has received top honors in major international contests, including the Wildlife Photographer of the Year, National Geographic Travel, Smithsonian, Nature Conservancy, Washington Post, Siena Awards, International Photographer of the Year, Moscow International Foto Awards, Tokyo International Foto Awards, PDN World in Focus, International Photography Awards (IPA, New York), and Sony World Photography Awards (London).
